on GUUAM Seminar at the Kennedy School of Government

May 31 – June 1, 2001 the Ambassadors of Azerbaijan Hafiz Pashayev, Georgia - Tedo Japaridze, Moldova - Ceslav Ciobanu and Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Ukraine Volodymyr Yatsenkivskyi held within the framework of the Harvard Black Sea regional Security program a conference devoted to the wide range of aspects on cooperation within GUUAM and its further perspectives. In their speeches the representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine focused broadly on the importance of streamlining common efforts towards strengthening of the economic cooperation, transport communications and its safety, including the transport corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) and other fields of multilateral cooperation.

A special attention was paid to Yalta summit of GUUAM as a decisive stage towards formalization and integrity of the group.
